Steve White and his Friends of the Parks volunteers have been actively assisting our Test Valley Woodland officer, working to maintain the local Valley Park woodlands. As a result of their hard work the woodlands have won the Green Flag award for the last 14 consecutive years.
This bench had been presented to Steve and his team to recognise their efforts. Cllr Alan Dowden carried out the presentation and accompanied by Cllr Celia Dowden thanked the volunteers and Test Valley's Woodland officers for all their hard work that benefits the Valley Park local population and visitors to our parish.
Carved by Chris Bain, the seat has the Friends of the Park emblem and a Badger.
