run by volunteers from

Who is it for?

Anyone who could do with a chat, whether you’re lonely, bored, sad or would just like to hear a friendly voice!

It’s open to anyone of all faiths and none.
How does it work?

Just call St Francis Church on 02380 271152 and leave a message, or email us at admin@sfvp.org.uk asking us to give you a call.

Please provide contact details and some options of when the best time would be to contact you.

We will contact you to arrange a day and time for someone to call you. This can be done by email, text or phone.

On the arranged day and time you will receive a call from one of our friendly team.

The call can last for about 20 minutes and a further follow up call could be arranged.

The call is confidential unless we are worried that there is a danger to you or someone else. (Please note that our volunteers are not trained counsellors.)
